The invitations are okay. The 110 pound card stock is not as heavy as I expected. I had compared it to 96 pound card stock that was Crane. The Crane felt better though the weight was less. The envelopes feel cheap and very lightweight. My main problem was customer service. Basic Invite's CHAT is GREAT! They are helpful. Calling is fruitless. I waited 5-15 minute wait times twice, then was cut off on their end. Trying to get to talk to my designer was also fruitless for me. I paid 20.00 extra dollars, and he said he nudged a few things but didn't tell me what. I asked him an important question in my initial email (which I don't think he ever saw) and in the response when I okayed the invite--and I am not sure he ever saw. I wanted to talk to him, and that didn't seem to be an option. They just don't look the price, either. Sadly. Again, their chat feature is stellar.

Beautiful quality invitations. 5 stars. Just a little tricky with their pricing system...30cent/10cent add ons here and there. It's hard to judge how much it will actually cost until your all completed and your cart is up to $800. Good tactic by the marketing team I guess...what's 10cents? But it really adds up and made for a dissapoining feeling at checkout. Still haven't pulled the trigger on my invitations.

I was thoroughly impressed with the end product. It was sophisticated and chic, the perfect compliment to my wedding. Ordering was easy and customer service was incredibly responsive. I would certainly recommend Basic Invite products to a friend. Oh and one other bonus, the delivery even came with a few extra prints, which ended up being a real lifesaver!

We had a great experience with Basic Invites! We wanted to create our own custom invites on canva because a lot of wedding invite websites didn't support features that we wanted, like full photo on the other side of the card, or QR code to the website. Basic Invites also seemed to be one of the few that 1) allowed us to use a high quality PDF instead of a jpeg 2) had slightly thicker paper for the envelopes (we ordered samples from other places and the envelopes were completely see-through!). Additionally we were so happy with the customer service after we needed a few addressed envelopes reprinted due to the font we selected slightly overlapping with the address line. If you do custom invites just remember to also update your own return address in the envelope edit stage, we almost missed this because the recipient address is done in the address book.

I was so impressed by the quality of the paper, as well as the beautiful design of these invitations.
