I ordered the Celtic Dream Foil invitation and registry card. They mean it when they say "the only truly custom invitations." I changed the font, added foil for our names, changed the background color, and changed the text color. For reference, I used a mix of gold foil and dark green font with a white background on the semi-gloss finish. I used the registry card template to get the gold foil design to match the invite panel, but I changed every word to make it a "Details" card. Since we are in the time of coronavirus, we have had lots of changes; therefore, making a details card with online RSVPs made the most sense. I also chose the gold foil-lined envelope with both the return address and guest address printed by Basic Invite. This made everything so much easier! In addition, the customer service is AMAZING! This is my second order. On my first order, the designer caught a mistake I made (two different paper selections) and contacted me through the site to clarify what paper finish I wanted. On my second order (because we can invite more people now per state guidelines), the customizations I made on the registry card were not showing up to allow me to "re-order" the exact cards again. I used the chat function in the lower right-hand corner of the site, which tells you if someone is online or not, and had a solution in about one minute. I was told how to place the order and where to make a note for the designer to use the customization from my first order so everything would be printed exactly as the first order. Finally, the site is super easy to use and navigate. The price, product, ease of using the site, and customer service were exactly what I was looking for!

We had a great experience with Basic Invites! We wanted to create our own custom invites on canva because a lot of wedding invite websites didn't support features that we wanted, like full photo on the other side of the card, or QR code to the website. Basic Invites also seemed to be one of the few that 1) allowed us to use a high quality PDF instead of a jpeg 2) had slightly thicker paper for the envelopes (we ordered samples from other places and the envelopes were completely see-through!). Additionally we were so happy with the customer service after we needed a few addressed envelopes reprinted due to the font we selected slightly overlapping with the address line. If you do custom invites just remember to also update your own return address in the envelope edit stage, we almost missed this because the recipient address is done in the address book.

Such a beautiful turnout for our invitations! My fiancé and I absolutely love how our invitations came out. Additionally, the quality of the invitations is truly exceptional. It's a thick cardstock material with just the right amount of glossiness. It fits our aesthetic perfectly.

We have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful our wedding invitations are. We also had some trouble with USPS, and the customer support team was AMAZING!!! Highly recommend Basic Invite!
