I've compared nine wedding invitation websites and landed with Basic Invite for a few reasons: (1) they had something close to the design we had envisioned, that alone eliminated the other five on the list; (2) of the four remaining, this was one of two that allowed us to make all the customizations we wanted; (3) and, finally, between the two remaining, this had way better value.

The website is easy to use to customize the invitations.

For some reason, the initial invitations we received did not include the QR code we added. However, a quick chat with a representative fixed that. Obviously, that delayed us sending the invitations out. But, since we were planning on sending them really early, it wasn't really a big deal. The replacement invitations we received did not have any issues. The QR codes are printed in the back like we wanted. Quality-wise, they seem to be okay for the most part, a few invitations have some imperfections. Nothing major, though, I'll still send them if I need to.

Extremely fast delivery which I was surprised about and the quality is gorgeous. Very happy with them!!

When buying wedding invites, you have to consider that they will all end up in the trash once it's said and done. This is one reason why I refused to pay crazy pricing for an invite that may not be kept as a memento. This service is great - you get to order a sample print for snack machine prices. The product it self was perfect - does just the job! And you cannot beat the pricing. Cheaper than Vistaprint and had more "wedding looking" options than other sites I browsed. We are having a Vegas wedding so this design was perfect! Not tacky but fun! I am so excited to send these out - hopefully they will be cherished by our guest because they are so fun!

We had a great experience with Basic Invites! We wanted to create our own custom invites on canva because a lot of wedding invite websites didn't support features that we wanted, like full photo on the other side of the card, or QR code to the website. Basic Invites also seemed to be one of the few that 1) allowed us to use a high quality PDF instead of a jpeg 2) had slightly thicker paper for the envelopes (we ordered samples from other places and the envelopes were completely see-through!). Additionally we were so happy with the customer service after we needed a few addressed envelopes reprinted due to the font we selected slightly overlapping with the address line. If you do custom invites just remember to also update your own return address in the envelope edit stage, we almost missed this because the recipient address is done in the address book.
